before i even begin, i want to thank star for providing me with this link. it shows what i guess is the original commercial that coke released. how cool that it was exactly the same song (same tune, anyway) but done in filipino for the release here!
remember my dissection of the filipino version? actually, you just need to scroll down one post and you'll find it. hehe! does my dissection apply to this english version?
nope. and for two simple reasons.
first of all, in the english version, the woman handing out bottles has a much bigger frame. hell, she can probably carry 20 bottles and a cow with very little effort! midget definitely not needed there.
second, we can clearly see her bag, and the bag looks big and sturdy. it's squarish, meaning the bottom of the bag is flat enough to hold bottles and make them stay upright. if you look at the bag in the filipino version, it looked like a hobo bag. there is no way 8 bottles of soda will stay upright in there. it will spill. and heck, 8 bottles won't even fit in there.
so there.
oh. and may i just say that the filipino version is sooo much better?
